UNTARGETED

If your experiment or research question do not focus on any particular class of compounds, untargeted metabolomics is what you require.


Our sample extraction method as well as our analytical devices are especially designed to capture a broad range of compounds, widely differing in size, structure, polarity, and functional groups. Of the thousands of unique features (detected signals) in a typical experiment, about 35% are reliably annotated.

Data from non-annotated features, albeit of lesser interest for specific biological conclusions, may still indicate gross metabolomic differences, shifts, and trends. Customers may choose between obtaining solely the annotated compounds (Anno packages) or the non-annotated as well (Pro packages).
